Press Equalizer Receives Highest Rating

Press Equalizer, software designed to boost search engine
rankings via the creation and submission of press releases,
has recently achieved a five-star rating from Review Place.

April 17, 2009 – Phoenix, AZ. Review Place recently granted
a five-star rating to Press Equalizer, a computer program
designed to boost search engine rankings via the creation
and submission of press releases.

“We’re pleased to receive Review Place’s top rating,” said
Rod Beckwith, a spokesperson for Press Equalizer. “Our
software is designed to help Internet entrepreneurs with one
of their greatest needs: that of optimizing their search
engine rankings.”

In ranking a site, search engines rely heavily on the number
of links leading back to the site from other web pages;
therefore, generating as many outside links to one’s site as
possible can improve search engine ranking dramatically.
One way to do this is to submit press releases to sites for
publication. The Press Equalizer software automates this
process, enabling users to create and submit more press
releases while spending less time on the task. The software
includes an assortment of templates to choose from in
creating a press release, after which the finished article
is automatically submitted to as many as a hundred different
sites for publication. With these timesaving, aggressive
tactics, Press Equalizer can produce improvements in search
engine rankings in as little time as a week.

“Press Equalizer is a software program that every dedicated
businessperson should have,” said Andy West, the Press
Relations representative for Review Place. “Considering how
much time and effort the program saves the user, it’s no
wonder our reviewers rated Press Equalizer with five stars.”

Despite what you may, think press releases are not only for
when you have important news or a big announcement to make.
All it takes is a slant on what you are putting out and you
can write press releases any time and get them published.

There are a couple of things to keep in mind when you are
looking to have your press release published, however.

The first is to let them know how your community has a niche
that your company fills. This could be anything from a
Kosher deli to custom Harley paint jobs. The important
thing is to let the community know that you are the answer
to their questions or things they didn’t even know they
needed.

If your company donates to the community through money
donations, through labor or even by donating products, it is
acceptable to write a press release stating what you have
been up to since the last time you released news. When your
employees go out and help build a home for Habitat for
Humanity, spend time reading to kids or feeding the hungry,
a press release will not only make the employee feel valued,
but it will pass along the information to the community.

You can even do a human-interest type piece about how your
company got started. What was the idea that made you think
you could make living selling doggy sweaters in Florida? Was
it tough to get funding? How much did you struggle to get
the money together to open the franchise? Did you have
support from your family or was it all on your own? Whatever
the answers are to these questions, write about it.

Watch the news; tell how your business relates to current
events. If gas is at an all time high, tell them how your
mechanic services will help save gas by making their engines
run more efficiently.

Another great thing to keep in mind is, when readers look at
press releases, they are looking at it as a story, not an
advertisement. That’s because most people think that press
releases are written by the newspaper and must be very
important news.

You want to create buzz about you or your company but don’t
know how to go about it. Well, Press releases are a great
source of publicity. There are also other types of free
publicity that will get your name out and make the community
you serve know you are there.

One way is to start your own TV show. Sounds expensive, I
know. But if you go to the local cable company’s public
access channel, airtime is free! That’s right, free. That
fits into your budget, right? All you need to pay is a small
fee for the equipment.

Call on the friends you meet in business and personal
circles. Ask them for testimonials about your product or
services. This will add to your credibility. Also, offer
your testimonial to other service providers in exchange for
your photo and business information to be posted on their
website or press release.

Invite the media – both press and television to attend
seminars that you provide to people interested in your
business. These demonstrations should be free of charge to
gain a higher attendance. Hold them at community education
centers, schools or even your own place of business. Offer
the classes at a convient time and offer refreshments as
well. Before and after the event, write a press release
about what you are expecting and what happened.

Use the power of the Internet. Participation in online
discussion groups not only get your name out there, but may
help establish you as an expert in your field. Reporters
read these message boards and get some of their leads there.

Use a link in your email signature that will provide free
publicity by taking your readers to a recent press release
in a newspaper or magazine. It does not have to be a major
publication or even a local one. Again, having your company
in print adds to perceived credibility.

The most important thing to remember when you are looking
for free publicity is to be patient. As with anything else,
it will take time for you go get the word out and for others
to pay attention to you. After all, just because you know
you are good, doesn’t mean that everybody else does too.
